Data is Your Friend And Why You Need To Track Conversions
Listen to my advice: Tracking conversions is the most important aspect of marketing.
Conversions are the life-blood of any website.
Conversion = Getting visitors to perform a desired task.
The problem is... most businesses don't track conversions. Because:
- They don't understand what a conversion is.
- They don't know why it's important.
- They don't know how to set them up.
Track Conversions to Gain An Edge
Are there certain techniques that help you increase conversions? Absolutely.
My favorite technique is "Click here to continue".
Let me explain.
On this website—and on our client websites, we test everything: copy, graphics, navigation, images... everything.
A "Click here to continue" link is typically at the bottom of a blog post or article on your website.
One of my favorite conversion techniques is to break-up long content into 2, 3, 4 or 5+ webpages.
Before I explain this technique to you, I need you to read the next page.
